November 12th, 2010

Entries are now open for the 15th Annual 'Active Nation' Lincoln 10k Road Race, which will take place on Sunday 3rd April 2011.

Since the very first Lincoln 10k took place in 1997, the event has grown in size and profile every year, with last year's race reaching its maximum 5,000 entrants.

The entry form for 2011's 10k can be downloaded from Running Imp's website here. Alternatively, race entry is available online at the City of Lincoln Council website here.

Entry is £17, or £15 for those who are affiliated with a running or athletic club. The closing date for entries is Friday 18th March 2011.

The official charity of next year's race is Cerebral Palsy Sport, a group that promotes sport and recreational opportunities for people with disabilities, especially cerebral palsy.

Everyone taking part in the 10k will receive a special unique finishers medal, which is being designed and manufactured by bespokemedals.com.

Exclusive photos of the new Lincoln 10k medal will be unveiled soon on our news pages, so don't forget to check out the latest headlines on bespokemedals.com to see the new-look medal.
