bespokemedals.com Supplies the World's Biggest Triathlon

August 23rd, 2010

bespokemedals.com was proud to have been named the Official Medal Supplier to the 2010 London Triathlon.

The annual event, which is the largest triathlon in the world, regularly attracts over 11,000 entrants who compete around London's famous landmarks including the Palace of Westminster, Tower Bridge and the London Eye.

Taking part for the second year running was reigning Formula One World Drivers Champion Jenson Button, who was competing to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

He completed the event in a time of 2hrs 14mins and 14secs.

Thats was despite the Maclaren driver suffering from tonsillitis in the run up to the event, which comprised of a 1500m swim followed by a 40km bike ride and a 10km run.

Button, who can be seen here proudly showing off the medal designed and manufactured especially for the event by bespokemedals.com, has already been able to raise more than £18,000 through his JustGiving page for the Make-A-Wish Foundation - which makes dreams a reality for children battling against life threatening illnesses.
